McDonald’s Corp. has unveiled deep-fried chicken wings, dubbed Mighty Wings, on a limited basis in several restaurants in Atlanta, The Los Angeles Times reported July 24.
There are no plans to unveil the wings on the national level, said McDonald’s spokesperson Danya Proud.
The chain recently launched Mighty Wings in Australia and Spain. In addition, it sold them across the U.S. during the 1990s.
McDonald’s may want to reconsider its stance on making Mighty Wings available in other states, particularly given a current culinary trend that favors street food and snacking.
