Russian government won't restrict grain shipments because of drought, official says

LOS ANGELES , July 13, 2012 () – Russia’s grain shipments will not be restricted as a result of drought, Deputy Prime Minister Arkady Dvorkovich told reporters July 13, Bloomberg reported the same day.

The country’s grain and legumes crop is forecast to reach 85 million tonnes, below a previous estimate of 94 million tonnes, according to a June 25 statement from agriculture minister Nikolai Fedorov.
