Thomas Logging worker killed in logging accident in Climax Township, Michigan

CLIMAX TOWNSHIP, Michigan , July 13, 2012 () – Kalamazoo-area authorities say a 36-year-old man has been killed in a logging accident.

MLive reports the Kalamazoo County sheriff's reports that a co-worker discovered the body on Thursday morning in Climax Township.

He's identified as Brian Thomas of Woodland.

The sheriff's department says Thomas worked for Thomas Logging LLC and was cutting timber. The department says the death appears to be accidental and says an autopsy is being held.
