Longview Fibre CFO resigning effective July 1 to pursue other interests; Heidi Pozzo joined the company as VP of finance in 2007, a few months after the company was bought by Toronto-based Brookfield Management Associates

The CFO at Longview Fibre Paper and Packaging Inc. has resigned as of July 1, the Longview, Washington-based company announced on July 5, reported The Daily News the same day.

Heidi Pozzo, who has been with the company since 2007, intends to pursue other interests, according to Longview Fibre, adding that external and internal candidates would be considered to fill the vacancy.

“We appreciate the strong financial team that she helped to build here at Longview,” said Randy Nebel, president of Longview Fibre.

Pozzo joined Longview Fibre as VP of finance a few months after Toronto, Ontario-based Brookfield Management Associates acquired the company. In 2009, she was promoted to CFO, The Daily News reported.
