Hollund Industrial Marine, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: HIMR) ("Hollund" or the "Company") announced today that management has been networking with state and local governments, environmental agencies, utilities, and businesses across Brazil to create invaluable financial opportunities in the region; resulting in the formation of the Company's second specialized Underwater Forest Project Development Team.
"Brazil has among the largest known underwater forest resources in the world," stated Shledon Romain, Vice President of Hollund Industrial Marine. "As many as 4,000 square miles of pristine Rainforest have been inundated by dam construction along the Amazon river water shed. Creating a South American Project Development Team, initially focused in Brazil, only makes good sense. The opportunities in Brazil are plentiful and our relationships within the region are increasingly strengthening."
Management believes the team assembled has the regional experience and network to offer Brazil and other dam building countries in the region, an economical and ecological solution to safely harvest non-living natural resources. The benefit of course would be the potential to reduce a nation's dependence on living forests.
Like the U.S. Development Team, the South American Development Team will appropriately manage Hollund's resources -- effectively taping the strengths of its network to advance the Company's strategic goals.
