Mississippi officials say a new facility for Caterpillar Inc. will house warehouse and logistics operations and create 35 jobs over the next three years.
Gov. Phil Bryant joined Corinth Mayor Tommy Irwin and other local officials for Thursday's announcement.
Caterpillar also says another 80 workers will transfer to the new $34.5 million engine recycling facility.
Caterpillar, known for its trademark yellow and black earth-moving machines, also is in the business of providing engines for long-haul tractor trailer rigs.
Many of those engines will end up in the new Corinth facility where they will be torn down, reconditioned and put back on the road.
Caterpillar has remanufacturing operations in Corinth and Booneville.
