Reed's announces Q1 revenue of US$6.5M, up 27.5% from year-ago period as company's branded business grew 26%, private label brands grew 54%

LOS ANGELES , May 7, 2012 (press release) – Reed's, Inc. (NASDAQ: REED), maker of the top-selling sodas in natural food stores nationwide, today announced its revenues for its first quarter ended March 31, 2012.

Revenues for the first quarter of 2012 increased to $6.5 million from $5.1 million in the first quarter of 2011.

"This is our 10th quarter of double-digit revenue growth," stated Chris Reed, Founder and CEO of Reed's, Inc. "Our business model continues to drive positive growth, with our Reed's branded business growing at 26% and our private label brands growing at 54% during the first quarter 2012.
