Dave & Buster's announces John B. Mulleady as SVP of Development

DALLAS , April 13, 2012 (press release) – Dave & Buster's, Inc., the innovator in restaurant/entertainment, has named John B. Mulleady as its Senior Vice President of Development. In addition to overseeing all real estate and construction projects, Mulleady will lead the company's expansion strategy, driving D&B's growth into new and under-penetrated markets. Dave & Buster's currently has 59 locations in the U.S. and Canada, and expects to open several more in the near future.

"Dave & Buster's has big plans for expansion, and we needed a leader with experience opening a large number of new stores. John's background in developing large format brands makes him the ideal person to lead this charge," said Steve King, Chief Executive Officer of Dave & Buster's. "He will play a key role in creating greater shareholder value as we aggressively pursue our expansion strategy."

Mulleady has 23 years of development experience, most recently as Vice President of Real Estate and Construction at BJ's Wholesale Club, where his duties included site identification, lease negotiation, design, permitting and construction. Prior to that, Mulleady was Vice President of Real Estate and Construction at Circuit City, developing more than 100 stores. Mulleady also worked for Wal-Mart International in Argentina and Home Depot in the United States, Argentina, Chile, and Mexico.
