Whole Foods Market launches kosher-for-Passover product selection, including organic, whole wheat matzo, gluten-free macaroons, antibiotic-free poultry, more

AUSTIN, Texas , March 22, 2012 (press release) – Whole Foods Market unveils a kosher-for-Passover product selection worth celebrating -- from organic and whole wheat matzo to gluten-free macaroons and antibiotic-free poultry choices -- just in time for Passover.

From boutique olive oils and premium poultry picks to high-end teas and gourmet snacks, Whole Foods Market's kosher selection spans beyond the traditional picks. This year, the grocer is also offering a hearty selection of exclusive items, including:

Organic whole wheat matzo, matzo meal, matzo farfel and cake meal from Aviv, a 120-year-old traditional matzo producer in Israel.
Avvio Organic Grape Juice, an essential part of the Passover Seder, made just for Whole Foods Market shoppers from a special harvest of organic grapes.
Delicately sweet and crisp Glick's Macaroons in chocolate, chocolate chip, almond and coconut varieties.
Gluten-free, organic matzo from Yehuda

Stores will also carry kosher poultry options from top brands like Kosher Valley™. Selections include fresh and frozen whole young turkeys and chickens, as well as freshly ground chicken and turkey options, all certified by the Orthodox Union and the K'hal Adath Jeshurun. As with all of Whole Foods Market's meats, these birds are raised on a vegetarian diet without antibiotics or added hormones*.
