Arkema subsidiary Coatex to increase prices of thickeners and dispersants in NAFTA region by US$0.03-$0.05/lb., effective April 1

CHESTER, South Carolina , March 15, 2012 (Arkema) – Effective April 1, 2012 or as contracts allow, COATEX Inc will increase the list and off-list selling prices of its Thickener and Dispersant product lines offered to the Paper, Mineral Processing, Construction, and Industrial Markets for the NAFTA Region by $0.03/lb to $0.05/lb.

This increase is necessary to respond to increasing raw material costs needed to manufacture our product lines.
