LOS ANGELES , March 8, 2012 (Industry Intelligence) – The Association of American Railroads reported March 8 that major U.S. railroads originated 6,253 pulp, paper and allied products carloads in the week ended March 4, down 2.4% year-over-year while major Canadian railroads originated 3,307, down 4.3%.
