Dennis Flanagan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Canexus Corporation (TSX:CUS) (the "Corporation" or "Canexus") is pleased to announce the appointment of Arthur N. Korpach to its Board of Directors on March 7, 2012.
Mr. Korpach is currently Vice Chairman Investment Banking at CIBC World Markets Inc. He has 27 years of investment banking experience working with clients in Canada and globally. During his career, he has provided advice on numerous financing and merger and acquisition transactions. He is Vice-Chair of the Board of United Way of Calgary and Area and is a past director of Mount Royal University and its Foundation. Mr. Korpach is a past chair of the Accounting Standards Board of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants.
Mr. Korpach received a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Saskatchewan and an MBA from Harvard Business School. He is a Fellow Chartered Accountant and a Chartered Business Valuator.
