Starbucks announces limited release of its 100% Kona Coffee product to its U.S., Canadian stores

SEATTLE , March 1, 2012 (press release) – WHAT: Starbucks Reserve® announces the release of 100% Kona® Coffee, one of the most renowned and beloved coffees in the world for its exquisite floral and caramel aromas and flavors of citrus and nuts. The coffee is from a lush growing area that is only 20 miles long and two miles wide and is hand selected for quality to bring the most exquisite taste in every cup.

Available for a limited time at select stores featuring the Starbucks Reserve® coffee line, Starbucks will offer 100% Kona Coffee in half pound whole bean coffee to make at home for $25 /U.S. and $28/CAN. To enjoy in-store by the cup through the Clover® brewing system, a tall (12 fl. oz.) cup of brewed coffee starts at $3.95/ U.S. and $3.95 /CAN.
