LOS ANGELES , February 29, 2012 () – Wal-Mart Stores Inc. has shuttered three Smart Choice convenience stores in Shenzhen, China, Bloomberg reported Feb. 29.

The stores closed after a trial period, the company said. The stores opened in December 2008 with the three stores.
