LOS ANGELES , February 23, 2012 () – The Association of American Railroads reported Feb. 23 that major U.S. railroads originated 21,688 grain carloads in the week ended Feb. 18, down 7.7% year-over-year, while major Canadian railroads originated 9,149, up 5.3%.
