A whopping 80 percent of the participants were dissatisfied with the current incontinence products in the market. The reasons cited include lack of comfort, frequent failure to prevent slippages, protrusion and instability. These participants wanted to see an improvement in the adult diapers on various parameters.
“When I jog wearing adult diapers, they tend to lose their gripping and thereafter, it’s a constant fear that remains with me until I reach home and adjust the diapers,” responded one of the participants.
“A month back, we had a big party at the restaurant to celebrate the first birthday of my niece. And the worst thing happened – I leaked! Although I was wearing adult diapers, my pants got wet. Because of the few drops spilling out of the diapers, my evening was spoiled,” complained another.
When the results of the survey were shared with the local representatives of Attends, Prevail and Covidien, leading manufacturers of incontinence products, they were not surprised. “ We receive input and suggestions from our customers regarding their experiences with our adult diapers on a daily basis.
