Janesville, Wisconsin-based thermoformed packaging manufacturer Prent Corp. will open seventh global facility in Heredia, Costa Rica; plant will include several production lines, should be completed by Q3 2012

JANESVILLE, Wisconsin , February 13, 2012 (press release) – Prent Corporation, a leading global thermoform packaging supplier to the medical device industry, will be opening its seventh facility this year in Heredia, Costa Rica, according to Joseph T. Pregont, Prent President and CEO.

“Prent Corporation is dedicated to our customer base and our global supply concept. By locating in Costa Rica,” he says, “we will be able to supply existing customers as well as new customers. Our new facility will continue to help customers reduce their total cost of products they are producing in Costa Rica.”

The facility is expected to be completed by the third quarter of 2012. When finished, it will house several thermoforming lines in a Class 8 Certified Clean Room.

This will be Prent’s seventh global production facility. Others are located in China, Malaysia, Denmark, Puerto Rico, Arizona and Wisconsin.
