LOS ANGELES , February 10, 2012 () – Independent designer Patrick Sung developed the Universal Packaging System, or UPACKS, to create a better fitting box concept, reported Yanko Design.

The UPACKS corrugated board features a pattern that allows it to mold against almost any shape, including standard box formats, while maintaining rigidity and product protection.

The board’s ability to save on packaging is yet to be seen, said Yanko Design, and it would need to be adequately padded.
