Bunge subsidiary Bunge India completes acquisition of India-based Amrit Banaspati's edible oils, fats business

MUMBAI and NOIDA, India , February 10, 2012 (press release) – Bunge India Private Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Bunge Limited (NYSE: BG) ("Bunge India") and Amrit Banaspati Company Limited ("Amrit Banaspati") today announced that Bunge has completed the previously announced acquisition of the edible oils and fats business of Amrit Banaspati.

Bunge India also completed the acquisition of rights to GAGAN, the vanaspati brand held by Amrit Corp. Limited.
