In a bid to expand its advisory services, crop inputs and grain marketing company Frontier Agriculture Ltd. has purchased The Agronomy Partnership, a U.K farm adviser, for an undisclosed sum, Bloomberg reported Feb. 2.
According to a statement posted on Frontier’s website on Feb. 2, Frontier’s team of 95 agronomists will expand as a result of the acquisition.
Over the past two years, Frontier said that it had been demonstrating its desire to expand its agronomy and crop-protection businesses.
Frontier Agriculture is a joint venture between Associated British Foods Plc. and Cargill Inc.
The Agronomy Partnership is located in TAP is located in the English county of Kent.
