France-based Papeterie du Doubs has been placed in receivership, and its packaging papers mill in Novillars, France, has been shut down from Jan. 27 due to lack of raw material, a company official said, reported EUWID-Paper on Feb. 2.

The commercial court of Besançon in France began bankruptcy proceedings on Jan. 30, ordering an observation period of six months, said Eric Gravier, the company’s managing director.

The mill, which has an annual production capacity of 80,000 tonnes per year of testliner and corrugating medium, is expected to restart on Feb. 6, EUWID-Paper reported.
