CHICAGO , January 31, 2012 () –
Grains futures rose Tuesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for March delivery jumped 21.25 cents to $6.66 a bushel; March corn rose 7.25 cents to $6.39 a bushel; March oats rose 6 cents to $2.98 a bushel; while March soybeans rose 13.75 cents to $11.99 a bushel.

Beef and pork futures also rose on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

February live cattle rose 0.93 cent to $1.2485 a pound; March feeder cattle rose 1.17 cent to $1.5552 a pound; while April lean hogs rose 1.72 cent to 88.87 cents a pound.
