Eastman Chemical to increase prices on all grades of propionic acid by US$0.05/lb. in North America, Latin America, effective Feb. 15

KINGSPORT, Tennessee , January 31, 2012 (press release) – Eastman Chemical Company is increasing prices on the following products Feb. 15, or as contracts allow. These increases are due to elevated operating costs, particularly in raw materials, energy, and freight.

Eastman™ Propionic Acid, All Grades : Off-list price increase of $USD 0.05/lb ($USD 0.11/kg) in North America and Latin America.
