Kingfisher subsidiary Screwfix opens 200th location, in Heathrow, U.K.

LONDON , January 26, 2012 (Kingfisher) – The start of 2012 marks a high for Screwfix as the multi-channel trade supplier celebrates the launch of its 200th trade counter, creating a considerable national network for the brand that only began to introduce its store offering just six years ago.

The 200th store opened its doors at Heathrow on 26 January, a fitting location given that Screwfix is set to have 50 stores inside the M25 by the end of January 2012, creating almost 400 jobs in the process and making the leading trade brand even more accessible for busy tradesman on the move around and inside the M25.
