Karnataka Soaps & Detergents Limited (KS&DL) introduces premium soap product Mysore Sandal Millennium, Daijiworld reported on Jan. 25.
Mysore Sandal Millennium is by far the most expensive soap manufactured and sold in India. The soap is priced at 720 Indian rupees (US$14.37) per 150 gram soap bar. Mysore Sandal
Classic is currently the most expensive soap in India, priced at 75 Indian rupees.
KS&DL anticipates Mysore Sandal Millennium sales of 50 million Indian rupees during the next fiscal year. The company is planning to sell the soap in India, the U.K., the U.S. and Asia.
