CHICAGO , January 17, 2012 () – Grains futures rose Tuesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for March delivery rose 2.50 cents to $6.0475 a bushel; March corn rose 4.50 cents to $6.04 a bushel; March oats rose 4.25 cents to $2.8675 a bushel; while March soybeans jumped 25.25 cents to $11.8950 a bushel.

Beef and pork futures mostly rose on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

February live cattle rose 1.05 cent to $1.2352 a pound; March feeder cattle was unchanged at $1.5237 a pound; while February lean hogs rose 0.17 cent to 85.77 cents a pound.
