PZ Cussons plans to expand the Fudge haircare brand into new international markets, the Yorkshire Post reported on Jan. 6.
PZ Cussons recently announced its plans to acquire the Fudge brand in a £25.5 million (US$39.4 million) deal, which is expected to close by the end of January.
The Fudge brand has a strong presence in the U.K., Australia and New Zealand and is currently available in about 30 countries worldwide. PZ Cussons has a strong presence in the U.S., Asia and mainland Europe, and plans to invest money to expand the Fudge brand into these markets.
Fudge’s most well-known product is Hair Shaper. The Fudge brand, which is popular with men, is expected to complement and expand Cusson’s beauty product selection.
