CHICAGO , December 22, 2011 () – Grains futures traded mixed Thursday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for March delivery rose 4.75 cents to $6.2175 a bushel; March corn rose 1 cent to $6.1750 a bushel; March oats fell 0.25 cent to $3.1075 a bushel; and January soybeans rose 8.50 cents to $11.6225 a bushel.

Beef and pork futures rose on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

February live cattle rose 3 cents to $1.2345 a pound; January feeder cattle rose 2.50 cents to $1.4687 a pound; while February lean hogs rose 1.28 cent to 84.55 cents a pound.
