JBS announces Anne Karine Napoli as marketing director of company's dairy division

SAO PAULO , December 21, 2011 (press release) – JBS S.A. informs its shareholders and the market in general that Anne Karine Napoli has been appointed as the new marketing director at Vigor, the Company´s dairy division. Anne will be responsible for the development and launch of new products and for coordinating the Research and Development department. She will report directly to Vigor´s president, Mr. Gilberto Xandó.

The arrival of Ms Napoli completes the Vigor Management team. Besides marketing, Management comprises Administration, Sales, Industrial, Human Resources and Supply Chain. This new arrival also concludes the professionalization process, which begun earlier this year. “Our team is now complete. From here on, we will implement our plan to reposition the Company´s main brands, with a view to leading our Company to a higher profitability baseline”, Gilberto Xandó commented.

With over 18 years in the consumer goods market, Anne brings the experience of having worked in European, American and Brazilian Companies, where she was involved with marketing strategy, innovation projects, communication and plan coordination on regional and international levels. Before joining Vigor, Anne worked at Unilever for seven years and, previously, at Danone for six.

Anne is married and has two children. She was born in France and graduated from the European Business Program and the International Executive Program (INSEAD).
