Russian MDF producer LPK Partner-Tomsk invests €150M in OSB plant, expects to begin construction in Q1 2012

LOS ANGELES , December 21, 2011 () – One of Russia's largest MDF producers LPK Partner-Tomsk is investing more than €150 million in the construction of an OSB plant.

The company plans to begin construction in Q1 next year, according to a report by Wood Based Panels International. Eventually the operation will create more than 400 jobs.

LPK Partner-Tomsk expects the plant to reach full production by the end of 2014, representing an annual sales volume of more than R3 billion (US$90 million).
