All U.S. Walgreens stores to be open Christmas Day, with 24-hour locations, pharmacies to remain open around the clock

DEERFIELD, Illinois , December 16, 2011 () – -Walgreens drugstores will be open Christmas Eve and Christmas Day to help shoppers with everything from last-minute presents and stocking stuffers, to gift wrap, batteries, party supplies and remedies for an untimely illness.

Through Dec. 23, most Walgreens stores will be open until midnight.
On Christmas Eve, nearly all stores will be open regular hours. Pharmacies will be open from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m.
On Christmas Day, non-24 hour stores will be open from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m.
All 24-hour stores and pharmacies will remain open around the clock.
