LOS ANGELES , December 13, 2011 () – Bangkok-based PTT Chemical Public Co. Ltd. plans to bring its naphtha-fed steam cracker at its complex in Map Ta Phut, Thailand, back online by the end of this month following an unplanned disruption at the end of last week, Platts reported Dec. 13, citing a company source.

PTT's "I4-1" cracker has an ethylene capacity of 515,000 tonnes per year and a propylene capacity of 250,000 tonnes/year, Platts reported.

Platts reported that the cracker is expected come online around Dec. 28 or Dec. 29.
