MARRIETTA, Georgia , December 13, 2011 (press release) – fiteBac™ SkinCare, LLC, a subsidiary of Kimmerling Holdings Group, LLC (KHG), a Georgia-based biotech company that has developed an antimicrobial intellectual property platform technology, has announced that it has launched what it expects will be a new standard in hand hygiene, fiteBac SkinCare Germicidal Hand Softening Gel. The Company is excited that it has brought to market an innovative hand sanitizer that is skin friendly and will encourage hand hygiene compliance among healthcare professionals, which will help in the effort to reduce healthcare associated infections, a huge burden on patient health, life and healthcare costs.

The key to the fiteBac Gel is its patent pending technology that is comprised of a unique combination of a non-alcohol based antimicrobial formulation, together with a silicone-based cross polymer that provides hydrophobic properties that improve the skin’s moisture barrier and keep the skin velvety soft, even after frequent hand washing or glove use. fiteBac SkinCare believes its technology will help reverse the trend of skin damage associated with frequent use of soaps and traditional sanitizers. The fiteBac Gel is paraffin-free, water-free, unscented, petroleum-free, and alcohol free. The vision of the inventor, former Dow Corning chemist, John Blizzard, was to create a sanitizer without the harmful side effects linked to other traditional hand sanitizers.

Frequent use of gloves, traditional hand hygiene products, and exposure to contaminants or unforgiving elements is a major problem in healthcare. These conditions remove lipids and skin oils and result in dryness and irritation. Skin damaged by these conditions can harbor increased levels of microorganisms, so the potential for spread of infection increases in those suffering from this condition. fiteBac SkinCare believes hand hygiene products and protocols are contributing to skin damage and due to the damage professionals are less motivated to use them as directed. By using its Gel, professionals will not suffer from the painful drying and cracking of skin for which traditional sanitizers and protocols are notorious.

fiteBac SkinCare has consistently received very positive feedback from those that have used the innovative Gel, along the lines of the following: "The product is incredible. It kills bacteria and germs while allowing my hands to stay soft and supple. I have used a lot of hand sanitizers during my nursing career, and this product is far superior to any I have used. My hands have never been in better shape" says Jean El Guindi, registered nurse from Marietta, GA.

fiteBac SkinCare believes its Gel, while particularly beneficial to professionals and staff in hospitals, doctor offices, dental offices, and nursing homes, will also be of significant benefit to professionals and staff in schools, banks, retail stores, airports and numerous other public facilities, in addition to helping every day consumers maintain good hand hygiene practices. It’s very optimistic that by encouraging hand hygiene compliance its product will reduce spread of infection and help to make a significant reduction in healthcare associated infections and related costs.

About fiteBac™ SkinCare, LLC and KHG
fiteBac SkinCare, LLC is a subsidiary company of Kimmerling Holdings Group, LLC (“KHG”), a Georgia-based biotech company that has developed an antimicrobial platform intellectual property technology. KHG was founded in 2009 by two ambitious professionals, Kirk Kimmerling, DDS and Dan Kearney. The two set out to create products to "change the world, one product at a time." Kirk and Dan first targeted bacterial issues in dentistry, knowing that solving those problems would lead to dramatic improvements in oral health, and more importantly, systemic bodily health. They engaged a team of brilliant chemists and scientists retired from Fortune 500 companies and researchers from major universities. In doing do, KHG has developed technology with several patents pending that has application well beyond dental materials, and has exciting potential in medical, plastic, composite, coating and other applications that are in various stages of development, some close to commercialization. fiteBac SkinCare Hand Softening Gel is the first product to be released under the fiteBac brand name.
