VEVEY, Switzerland , December 12, 2011 (press release) – Over the last few years there has been an increasing demand for coffee shop coffee at home and NESCAFÉ Dolce Gusto has become one of the top selling pod machines. Through its existing partnership, more than 400,000 NESCAFÉ Dolce Gusto coffee machines have been sold in the UK and Ireland since launch in 2006.

In order to accelerate this success Nestlé UK & Ireland are pleased to announce a new partnership with De’Longhi to extend its range of home coffee machines for the NESCAFÉ Dolce Gusto brand.

Jonathan Michelmore, Head of Marketing, said: “The demand for Nescafé Dolce Gusto continues to grow and we are delighted that De’Longhi will be joining us. These are exciting times for NESCAFÉ Dolce Gusto and we are lucky to be working with two such well known household names.”

From 2012 consumers will have the opportunity to purchase from a wider choice of coffee machines manufactured by both Krups and De’Longhi.
