Deutsche Post announces prices for letters, postcards sent to destinations in Germany, abroad to remain unchanged in 2012

BONN, Germany , December 6, 2011 (press release) – The prices for letters and postcards sent to destinations in Germany and abroad will remain unchanged in the coming year. The Federal Network Agency, which regulates letter prices in Germany, has now approved Deutsche Post's price proposal.

After a price reduction in 2003, customers purchasing postage for standard letters can get the same high quality at the usual price of 55 cents in 2012, the tenth year in a row. The prices for other letter mail products such as postcards, Kompaktbrief items, Grossbrief items and Maxibrief items will also remain the same.
