ExxonMobil Chemical to present its range of oriented PP label application technologies at LabelExpo Asia, Nov. 29-Dec. 2 in Shanghai; applications include packaging for beverages, food, health and beauty products and household goods

SHANGHAI , December 2, 2011 (press release) – ExxonMobil Chemical will present its range of oriented polypropylene (OPP) label application technologies at LabelExpo Asia (Hall E1 booth B27) from 29 November - 2 December 2011 at the New International Expo Centre in Shanghai, China.

This includes technologies for pressure sensitive labeling (PSL) applications, Label-Lyte™ OPP top coated films and Digilyte™ OPP films for digital printing. Label-Lyte™ ROSO™ OPP films for roll-on-shrink-on label applications; Label-Lyte™ films for wrap-around, cut-and-stack label applications; and Label-Lyte™ OPP films for wrap-around, roll-fed/reel-fed label applications will also be on display. These products are designed for use in packaging for beverages, food, health and beauty products, medicines, automotive products, and household goods.

An ExxonMobil Chemical program of new product development is focused on performance, decoration, and labeling efficiency. Innovative developments target several decorating technologies, including PSL, cut and stack labels, and shrink label substrates.

Customer support is provided through ExxonMobil Chemical’s Shanghai Technology Center (STC).
