Target announces Big Toy Event, featuring buy one, get one for 50% off deal on major toy brands, Dec. 4-10

MINNEAPOLIS , December 2, 2011 () – Target Corporation (NYSE:TGT) is hosting the Big Toy Event, inviting guests to “buy one, get one 50 percent off” of the most coveted toy brands in stores and at Target.com from Dec. 4 through Dec. 10.

Target guests will receive 50 percent off the purchase of a second toy from the same brand when they buy any item from: Barbie®, Fisher-Price Little People, Disney® Princess, Disney Cars 2, Nerf®, Thomas & Friends® or LEGO® City. The assortment features hundreds of classic and new toys, including must-have items that are topping gift lists this year like, Barbie I Can Be play set, Disney Princess Storytime Amazing Belle, Nerf Vortex Nitron blaster, Thomas & Friends Busy Day play set and LEGO City Bank & Money Transfer.

25 Days of Toys

For additional savings, Target is also offering 25 Days of Toys. From Nov. 30 through Christmas Eve, Target will feature one must-have toy each day at a deep discount in stores and online. To sign up to receive notifications on all 25 deals, guests can visit Target.com/DailyDeals or text DD to 827438 (TARGET).

In addition to the Big Toy Event and 25 Days of Toys, Target guests can save even more on toys this holiday season by visiting the coupon portal at Target.com to receive 25 offers at 25 percent off.

Target’s price-match promise guarantees that guests will always get the lowest price on toys, and by using the Target REDcard, guests can automatically save an additional 5 percent.
