Suzano to be included in the Bovespa Corporate Sustainability Index for seventh consecutive year

SAO PAULO , November 29, 2011 (press release) – Suzano Papel e Celulose - (Bovespa: SUZB5), will be included in the Bovespa Corporate Sustainability Index (ISE) for the 7th consecutive year.

The ISE complying with strict criteria in the process that brings a portfolio is made up of shares from companies with the best performance in all the dimensions that assess their corporate sustainability. The objective of the index is to be a reference for socially responsible investments and to influence good practices in the Brazilian business environment.

The 2012 portfolio, which comes into effect on January 2, 2012 and is valid until December 31, 2012 holds shares from 38 companies. These companies represent 18 different industries with a total market value of R$ 961 billion, i.e. 43.72% of the total value of companies listed on BM&FBOVESPA, on November 23, 2011.
