Unilever's Dove sales jumped 9.8% to US$687M in 52 weeks ending Oct. 2 due to new products, marketing campaigns, SymphonyIRI says

– Unilever’s Dove brand saw a 9.8% hike in sales, reaching US$687 million in the 52 weeks ending on Oct. 2, according to SymphonyIRI, AdAge.com reported Nov. 28.
The soaring sales follow a drop that came after the brand saw global sales surpass $2 billion in the last 10 years.
According to the market research firm the growth is due to the launch of new products, such as the Visible Care Body Wash launched earlier this year, and successful marketing campaigns, including “Journey to Comfort” for the Dove Men+ Care line.
These marketing initiatives enable the brand to attract all demographics through its emotional connection, says Rob Candelino, Dove’s U.S. skin-care marketing director.
