LOS ANGELES , November 29, 2011 () – Many casual and quick-service restaurants across the U.S. are using mint in several of their holiday menu offerings, Nation’s Restaurant News reported Nov. 28.

Chick-fil-A, for example, is offering a peppermint chocolate chip milkshake for the third holiday season in a row. Dunkin’ Dounts, meanwhile, currently has a peppermint mocha coffee and latte on its menu. And Anaheim, California-based frozen yogurt chain Yogurtland brought back its snowflake mint flavor for November.

Additionally, IHOP debuted white chocolate chip mint pancakes as part of its seasonal holiday offerings, and McDonald’s introduced for the first time limited-time seasonal drinks to its McCafé line: peppermint mocha and peppermint hot chocolate.
