Red Robin Gourmet Burgers announces new Sweet Jim Beam Bacon Swiss Burger as part of its holiday promo product offering

GREENWOOD VILLAGE, Colorado , November 9, 2011 (press release) – Just in time for the bustling holiday season, Red Robin introduced a new burger to their holiday promo line-up, the Sweet Jim Beam® Bacon Swiss Burger. The bourbon-glazed beef patty is topped with Applewood smoked bacon, caramelized bourbon onions and melted Swiss cheese on a garlic butter toasted brioche bun. The burger is only available for a limited time through December 24.

“This burger is truly the epitome of sweet meets savory,” said Dave Woolley, Red Robin’s executive chef. “The bourbon is cooked down with molasses and caramelized onions so there is no alcohol in the burger, and is paired with a buttery brioche bun, Swiss cheese and Applewood smoked bacon to make the perfect, craveable holiday treat for burger lovers of all ages.”

Red Robin is also bringing back a perennial holiday favorite, the Gingerbread Shake, which is blended with tasty graham cracker crumbs and topped with a gingersnap cookie. For an adult version, guests 21 years of age or older can add a shot of Jim Beam® to the Gingerbread Shake.

Additionally, to honor the season of giving, Red Robin is thanking guests for purchasing Red Robin gift cards. For each Red Robin gift card purchased, in increments of $25 to $45, now through Saturday, Dec. 24, guests will receive a FREE $5 Bonus Buck. The Bonus Buck can be used at Red Robin after the holidays, from Sunday, Jan. 1 – Wednesday, Feb. 29, 2012, to enjoy any of Red Robin’s more than two dozen gourmet burgers, sandwiches, wraps, salads, and entrees or any other menu item.
