Burger King Holdings, Inc. has unveiled a new marketing campaign intended to raise awareness of its health-conscious kids’ meals, Nation’s Restaurant News reported Nov. 7.
The rechristened “BK Crown” meals will include new interactive box packaging, toys and other games, and a redesigned cardboard crown featuring brighter colors and more jewels. As part of the “BK Crown” program, children can go to a website where they can direct one penny toward one of four charities pre-selected by Burger King.
Burger King has been making their kids’ meals healthier for the past several years, and within the last year has signed on to the “Kids LiveWell” program run by the National Restaurant Association.
