Armstrong World Industries Inc. is laying off more than 100 employees at its plant in West Virginia's Randolph County.
Armstrong spokeswoman Jennifer Johnson attributes the layoffs to poor market conditions.
Johnson tells media outlets that 116 workers, including five salaried employees, were notified Wednesday morning before their shifts began. Their last day at the Beverly plant is Nov. 11.
The plant employs about 600 workers and specializes in flooring products.
