LOS ANGELES , November 3, 2011 () – A new collection of fake eyelashes for men has been launched by cosmetics brand Eylure, The Huffington Post reported Nov. 3.

The guylashes, which will come in two types, either thick or fine, and will sell for £5.57 per pack, promise to be more discreet than fake eyelashes for females while still providing a “natural, fuller look”, recreating the “Hollywood gaze.”

Lee Kynaston, online grooming editor for Men’s Health does not expect the guylashes to expand beyond a niche market, according to the article.

David Walker-Smith, Selfridges’ beauty and menswear director told The Daily Mail that an influx of male consumers at the new Blink bar is evidence of a potentially strong market.

Harrods’ Blink & Go bar has also seen a strong favorable response from male consumers in the fake eyelash market, The Daily Mail reported.
