According to an article by Sao Paulo-based newspaper Valor Economico, the majority shareholder of Brazilian cookie maker Mabel said the company has not yet reached an agreement to sell to PepsiCo, Bloomberg reported Nov. 3.
Shareholder Sandro Mabel said the cookie maker is in talks with nine potential bidders and hasn’t yet decided on a buyer.
Also according to the article, PepsiCo’s press office said it hasn’t reached an agreement to buy Mabel
