The Board of Directors of CPH Chemie + Papier Holding AG has appointed Klemens Gottstein as the new Chief Executive Officer of Perlen Papier AG its paper manufacturing subsidiary. He will assume his duties on 1 January 2012
Klemens Gottstein most recently served as the Myllykoski Group’s Executive Vice President Operations, with overall responsibility for its six European production facilities and for Human Resources Europe. He began his career in the paper industry as an apprentice papermaker over 30 years ago. After taking his first professional steps at the Albbruck paper factory, he went on to hold a wide range of functions within the Myllykoski Group, including HR Director, General Manager of its Dachau and Ettringen plants, Vice President Operations and Director of Business Development.
Klemens Gottstein is 50 years old, and is married with two children. He will take up his new duties as CEO of Perlen Papier AG on 1 January 2012. In this capacity he will also serve as a member of the Group Executive Management of CPH Chemie + Papier Holding AG, and will report directly to Dr. Peter Schildknecht, CEO of the CPH Group.
As already announced, Frank R. Ruepp will be leaving the CPH Group at the end of October. Perlen Papier AG will be led on an interim basis by CPH Group CEO Dr. Peter Schildknecht until Klemens Gottstein assumes his duties. The CPH Group thanks Frank R.
