Wal-Mart to beat Target, Kmart prices on most popular toys this holiday season by 9%, 13% respectively, survey finds

Los Angeles , October 20, 2011 () – Wal-Mart Stores Inc. is pricing the toys expected to be most popular this holiday season 9% and 13% lower than Target Corp. and Kmart respectively, Bloomberg reported Oct. 14.

Wal-Mart prices will also beat Amazon.com Inc.’s and Toys "R" Us Inc.’s prices on between 12 to 18 similar toys, according to a Bloomberg Industries report.

U.S. retail sales will see only 2.8% growth to US$465.5 billion during the holidays, compared with 5.2% a year ago.
