PepsiCo to invest US$300M to US$400M to increase production in Russia, company official says

LOS ANGELES , October 17, 2011 () – The head of Pepsi Russia, Ramon Laguarta, said that PepsiCo Inc. plans to invest US$300 million to $400 million to increase production in the country, Bloomberg reported Oct. 17.

PepsiCo CEO Indra Nooyi said that Pepsi has invested $9 billion in Russia over the past decade.

That figure should reach $10 billion within two years, Nooyi said.
