Domino's U.K. earns more than £1M in online sales in one day, with 13% of those record sales coming through mobile devices

– Domino’s UK said it earned more than £1million (US$1.3 million) in online sales on Oct. 8, with 13% of those record sales coming through mobile devices, PizzaMarketplace.com reported Oct. 11.
CEO Chris Moore said 12 years ago, the company took in just £100,000 a year in online sales, with the number increasing to £1million a year in 2000.
Domino’s UK’s 2010 sales were up almost 20%, with the company attributing that to its online component.
