An advertising research firm named Sonic as having the best restaurant-specific commercial during the third quarter, Nation’s Restaurant News reported Oct. 5.
Sonic topped the list of “Most Effective TV Ads” during the time period. The list was compiled by Ace Metrix, a Los Angeles-based advertising research firm.
Sonic placed first and fourth on the third-quarter list with 60-second and 30-second versions, respectively, of the same ad, which featured a customer fantasizing about riding a giant jalapeño.
